Our Core Promise: We sell productivity tools, not personal data. Your detailed activity logs are yours alone. We do not sell, rent, or trade your workflow data to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Nexysys. We understand that installing a desktop agent requires a high level of trust. This policy outlines exactly how the Nexysys Desktop Agent operates, what data is transmitted to our servers, and the strict controls you have over your privacy.

By using Nexysys, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We maintain a "Privacy by Design" philosophy, meaning we only collect the absolute minimum data required to power your productivity insights.

2. Information We Collect

A. Essential Account Data

To create your workspace, we collect basic identification information including your name, email address, password (hashed), and billing details if you are on a paid plan.

B. Desktop Activity Metrics

The Nexysys Agent monitors active window focus to calculate your "Focus Score." This data is strictly scoped:

Application Name: (e.g., "Google Chrome", "VS Code") - Used to categorize work type.
Window Titles: (e.g., "Project Roadmap - Figma") - Collected only if you enable "Detail Mode". You can disable window title collection globally or for specific sensitive apps.
Duration: Time spent active in each application.

C. What We NEVER Collect

✕ No keystrokes (Keylogging)
✕ No screenshots or screen recordings
✕ No camera or microphone access
✕ No browser history contents (URLs only if window title collection is on)

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data for the sole purpose of providing the Service:

Productivity Dashboards: Generating visual reports of your team's focus time and work density.
Focus Scoring: Our algorithms analyze app usage patterns to differentiate between "Deep Work" and shallow distractions.
Invoice Verification: Creating "Proof of Work" PDF reports that you can send to clients or managers.

We may use aggregated, fully anonymized metadata (e.g., "Average focus time for Designers") to improve our algorithms. This data cannot be traced back to any individual or workspace.

4. Data Retention & Security

Retention: High-resolution activity logs (second-by-second data) are retained for 30 days to allow for accurate dashboard processing. After 30 days, data is rolled up into daily summaries (e.g., "Total Focus Hours: 6.5") and the raw logs are permanently deleted.

Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption standards.

Blacklisting: You can configure a "Privacy Blacklist" in your settings. Any app added to this list (e.g., "Signal", "Password Manager") will be completely ignored by the Nexysys Agent—no logs, no timestamps, zero trace.

5. Contact & Rights

You have the right to request a full export of your data or a complete deletion of your workspace at any time. These actions can be performed directly from your Settings page.
